YIN Activities

The Young IFA Network aims to increase the participation of tax professionals in IFA during the early stages of their careers, so that they can develop meaningful and long lasting relationships with their peers from across the world. The YIN Committee and various YIN Representatives assist to develop, propose and implement various activities at the Branch, regional and global levels of IFA for these tax professionals.
While the YIN events are primarily intended to attract members aged 40 and under, all participants are more than welcome to attend. Young IFA members will have the opportunity to meet and mingle at an informal reception at the Congress venue, prior to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception. The purpose of the Meet & Greet Reception is to give young IFA members and individuals attending their first IFA Congress a chance to meet informally at the beginning of the Congress. It will help them to make the most out of attending the Congress by building up their personal networks.

YIN Seminar [Details] No. of person(s)

The YIN Seminar will be divided in two segments. In the first segment, the winners of the Mitchell B. Carroll Prize and the Maurice Lauré Prize as well as the winner of YIN Award will present their winning thesis/article. Each presenter will answer questions from the audience.

The second part will be a moot court session. The Judge will preside over a hypothetical tax case to be argued by young tax academics or professionals, with one side representing the tax authorities and the other side representing the taxpayer.
